Durga Puja – the biggest festival of the Bengali’s is just around the corner and the first thing that comes to our mind on hearing about it is the Durga Puja Special ‘Laal Paar Shada’ saree which the Bengali ladies are seen flaunting especially on Ashtami (8th) and Dashami (10th) days of the Puja. The saree is white in the body and has red borders (paars).
