  1. Ather S340

‘Green’ is the new thing. Ather Energy, an Indian startup is all set to launch its first product Ather S340. Ather S340 is no ordinary electric scooter. It will be loaded with power, advanced tech, and a host goodies. This new scooters will have 3KW or 5KW depending on the selected riding mode- Economy or Sport, a feature which is seen usually on premium offerings; while torque stands at 14Nm. It also offers a mono shock suspension, regenerative braking, and multiple riding modes.

  1. Hero Duet E

Another excellent model by Hero Motocorp. This e-scooter from Hero is powered by an electric motor churning out 5 kW along with 14 Nm of torque and can do a claimed 0-60 mph run in 6.5 seconds. According to the manufacturer, the Duet E was derived from the existing technology.

  1. TVS EnTorq 210 ConceptScooters

This is another impressive concept by the two-wheeler giant TVS. The salient features of the model will include large wheels fitted with radial tubeless tyres along with roto petal dual disc brakes with ABS. This scooter will have advanced LED lighting, smartphone integration paired with GPS navigation, online connectivity features via a smart TFT multi-function instrument console and start/stop push button. However, the EnTorq Concept may not go into production immediately.

  1. TVS EnTorq 125

Next in the line is another model by TVS- EnTorq 125. This will be placed straight against the 125cc scooters such as the Honda Activa, Suzuki Access and so on. According to the latest update, this all-aluminium 125cc engine will be linked to a CVT and have an 8.5 liters fuel tank capacity. EnTorq 125 will come with an edgy design similar to the EnTorq 210 Concept.

  1. Vespa GTS 300

The Vespa GTS 300 is an upcoming premium scooter in the country and is suppose to hit the market the end of this year. The scooter is going to be powered by a 278cc, single-cylinder engine churning out 21bhp and 22.3Nm of torque. It will have an analog instrument cluster with an LCD display, and internationally, it also comes equipped with traction control and dual-channel ABS.

  1. Hero ZIR

With this new model, Hero MotoCorp will enter the more powerful 150cc scooter segment. This will be a sporty maxi-scooter and will come in two variants – flat floorboard and European style step-through. It will also offer a 157cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine delivering 13.8bhp and 12.7Nm of power and torque respectively.

With all the above mentioned new and powerful new rides, looks like 2017 is going to be a super fast year for all the two-wheeler lovers.
