Capt. Haobam Bella Devi, a second generation army officer, is the daughter of Col H G Singh (Retd), of Top Leikei, Singjamei, Imphal, Manipur.
4). Lin Laishram Lin Laishram, is a top notch model, an aspiring actress and sportsperson from Imphal, Manipur.

5). Mangka MayanglambamMangka Mayanglambam, is a folk singer from Manipur. She acquired the basic knowledge of folk song from her father Mangangsana a well known Manipuri Traditional Pena Singer. She is receiving National Talent Scholarship from CCRT New Delhi in the field of Folk Song since 2009.
She has represented India in Abu (Asian Broadcasting Union) Radio Song Festival, Sri Lanka 2014; Tapestry of Sacred Music 2013, Esplanade Singapore etc.

Binalakshmi NepramBinalakshmi Nepram, founder of the Manipur Women Gun Survivors Network, belongs to the new generation of Manipuri women, who are not just fighting against brutal injustice, but also asking for women’s political representation in discussions about war and peace. Through her work, she has highlighted the need for a women-led disarmament movement in India. In 2010, she received the Sean MacBride Peace Prize and the next following year, she won CNN-IBN’s Indian of the Year Award 2011. she also won L`Oreal Paris Femina Women Awards 2015.
7). MC Mary KomMC Mary Kom, is a boxer from Manipur, India. She is a five-time World Amateur Boxing champion, and the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each one of the six world championships. Nicknamed “Magnificent Mary“, she is the only Indian woman boxer to have qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics and winning the bronze medal. She became the first Indian woman boxer to get a Gold Medal in the Asian Games in 2014 in Incheon, South Korea.

Irom Chanu SharmilaIrom Chanu Sharmila, also known as the “Iron Lady of Manipur” or “Mengoubi” (the fair one) is a civil rights activist, political activist, and poet from the Indian state of Manipur. On 2 November 2000, she began a hunger strike which she ended on 9 August 2016, after 16 years of fasting, demanding the repeal of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA). Having refused food and water for more than 500 weeks, she has been called “the world’s longest hunger striker”. On International Women’s Day, 2014 she was voted the top woman icon of India by MSN Poll.
